Well hydrocortisone itself has some mineralcorticoid properties, so there is actually some effect from it without the need for fludro (dex and pred do not have the same mineralcorticoid effect). You're right, my dose is quite high, especially for the size of me! I'm 65kg and on 35mg a day.
I've had genetic testing (or was it just my parents?) and I have the report somewhere. Are you the Kathy from the UK board from interest?
