Laura, for what it's worth, I'm a 44 year old male with NC CAH (21-hydrox def.) who is on 12.5 mg/prednisone daily and I am still UNDER suppressed. Each of us is unique. What is too much for you may be too little for me. Your dose should be based on your labs, discussion with your doctor, and your overall health, including how you feel. Hope this helps -- Eric
