Next Pregnancy
Oct. 21st, 2008   9:54am
I have a 14 month old daughter, Emmy Kate who has SWCAH.  I could not ask for a more perfect baby.  She is the center of my world!  However, I would like to have another baby in the future, and I am so nervous about the testing that has to be done to see if the baby has CAH.  I understand that there is a chance of miscarriage with the amnio and the CVS.  I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks with my first pregnancy, and I am just terrified about all of this.  If the baby is a girl, I know that it would be wonderful to treat the baby prenatally, and avoid the sugery, but is it worth possibly losing the baby?  I need some guidance...
