Rick: So, you became a salt waster later on in life but were diagnosed w/ CAH or LOCAH at age 5???? I thought only CAH was at birth and anything later in life was LOCAH and I also thought all salt wasters were diagnosed at birth or close to it. I'm a late on-set mom of 3 late on-set kids. Maybe someone with more knowledge about Classical CAH can answer your question for sure, but I don't think every single classical female has ambiguous genetalia. You have to have the "simple virilizing" gene to have the ambiguous genetalia, but a lot of girls do.
