re: re: question about LOCAH
Oct. 20th, 2008   11:59am
I was diagnosed around age 5 with CAH, 21-OH deficiency. I was always on just hydrocortisone until a few months ago, when my levels showed a need to start on fludrocortisone due to saltwasting. All levels have now been checked and I'm back on the mark.

Just to be the exception to the rule ;).

Remember, CAH in general, and also saltwasting, are not absolute quantities. It is not a case of you "have or do not have", there are an infinite number of degrees in between.

Regards,

Rick
