I think one should be careful in giving advice to take your night dose earlier, if you are having problems sleeping. The reason the doctors like you to take your dose at late as possible at night, is to catch the early morning ACTH rise, which in turn cause the 17 OHP level to rise. If on hydrocortisone taking it earlier will mean it may not last in the system long enough to do it's job. ALWAYS discuss any changes with your doctor, if you are having problems sleeping, talk to your specialist.
