Yeah we went through this with our son about a year ago, he's 16 now. The endo never really accused him but asked if we were sure he was taking the pills. We made him take them in front of us for months with no change in his levels. Man did that ever make him mad. Then the endo switched him to prednisone and the problem went away. It took a couple months though. His levels went up around the time we switched to the generic hydro. Our Daughters levels went up as well but not as bad and she stayed on the hydro but a bigger dose. Recently her dose has been reduced due to over suppression. It's hard to tell if it was the generic or not but things are much better now. The only advise I can give is keep the communication lines open with your daughter. My kids hate doctors... All of them. I would ask the endo if prednisone is an option you can try, it last longer in their system. It took a while for the levels to come down though. Keep the faith.
