re: what I should have added Aug. 3rd, 2008 1:47pm
Sorry I found your posts hard to understand, has your son stopped growing at 5' 2"? Are his bone fused? or does he have his growth spurt still to come? Have you thought of using further drugs to delay the bones from fusing? Has he had poor control? 16 is quite young to stop growing for a boy.
With regards to your project, as Toni says, the book she mentions is brilliant and is factual, written by a parent and an expert physician on CAH. It is well worth buying and many people have said how good and easy it is to understand, including many doctors. If you are not a doctor, I think you would have to be careful because if incorrect facts were stated and acted upon, you could face a lawsuit but as I said, I do not really understand what you mean to do.
It would need to be medically factual if it is about CAH.
Is it a story about your son's CAH? A type of biography? If it is a general book on how people feel with CAH, how would you get all the data you need? Also how would you know that the peoples problems were not influenced by other factors, such as home life, other illnesses etc and blamed on CAH.
Are you the same person as Anne-Marie from New Zealand?
