re: re: Extremely High Potassium Levels in 7 Week-old Baby Girl

Thank you, Sara for your input.  My sister and brother-in-law are very educated about CAH, as their two older children have it as well.  Their oldest son had an adrenal crisis when he was just days old and they were able to diagnose him and treat him and was able to get him in and out of the hospital in 5 days.  Unfortunately, it has been 9 days so far for their little girl and it just gets very frustrating.  She is on 3 1/2 times the medication that her older brothers are on.  In addition, my sister was on dexamethazone during her pregnancy when an amniosyntesis indicated that the baby had CAH.  Asking questions does not seem to help, as my sister seems to be educating the doctors about CAH.
