re: re: re: CAH and Migraines

I only have LOCAH, but have suffered w/migraines for 15years. They only got better until I started treatment for my LOCAH. I was only diagnosed 2 yrs ago and I'm 48yrs now. I tried taking meds to lower my blood pressure to shrink the blood vessels, took Topomax and another preventative. Took Immitrex, Relpax & Vicodin to abort the pain probably 20 times per month. I missed many years of activity because the migraines were debilitating. Then, when I went on Dex .075mg 3 months ago my migraines vanished except the week of my period. I also take Yasmin for LOCAH & PCOS which I believe works well for my migraines. Sometimes if I can catch the migraine in an early stage, I take a couple of Cortefs and that helps tremendously. My entire body functions so much better while I'm on Dex.
I also get them about 4-5:00p like the other writer. I think its because I'm getting hungry and maybe low on water. I drink LOTS of water during the day but slack off in late afternoon.
I am continually amazed at how similar all of our symptoms are. Good luck!
natalie
