I'm sorry but they have been doing their studies and judgements since the 1950's beginning with a man named John Money at John Hopkins University to people like Susan Baker today at I believe Penn State.
There are studies from back in the day where out of the parents sight the subjects would play with whatever they wanted but when the parents were in the room they would only touch gender "normal" toys.
The studies are just statistics and they are run over and over. I'm not a lesbian and actually don't relate to women at all but those that study us determine over and over that compared to the population at large that females with CAH report higher percentages of lesbianism but those phDs never bring up Bi-sexual and everyone w/ CAH that I talk with female wise seems to privately stuggle with being Bi-sexual. See the phDs study waht they want and write their articles but you must take them with a grain of salt.
I was born in 1970 and it was suggested to my parents that I have a gender neutral name like Chris even though they western medicine men were busy getting their scapels ready.
The urology dept were the only ones that thought I could wait on surgery (I cherish those medical records and my Dad also thought surgery was BS too ...Love you Dad and you were right but the medicine men at the time "the experts" the endo and the chief of ped surgery ... the man that commited the act convinced him that THEYwere right ....See Dad loved me unconditionally and the medical people were just interested in fixin me into something I wasn't...see just a lab rat but they still threw out use the name Chris and from studies be sure to provide androgenous toys like Lincoln Logs and Legos which I grew to hate because that is all I was given gender nutral toys. I liked my friends doll houses and easy bake ovens
Please allow your your kid to be your kid - Did you ask why when you heard it's frustrating to be a female?
Instead of only strong female characters which only drives home that you disaprove at least in my opinion why not strong male and female characters ?
Who nows where this will lead and it's probly nothing but please try and love unconditionally. Remember that there are all different types of women.
