Anon has a good point. One that I make when one asks if CAH causes one to be "gay". You see these studies that indicate a percentage of women do turn out gay and my argument to that was always, "What if they were going to turn out gay anyway without CAH?" I mean you can look at a group of diabetics and survey them and there will be a percentage that are gay. Does that mean Diabetes makes one gay? Or would they be gay without Diabetes?
I think by four they have a good sense of boys or girls but still. I have met some four year olds that are "foggy" in some things in life. And that has to do with a lot of things, not just gender issues. You find a straggler that has fallen behind for whatever reason, but there are some out there that are behind in developing socially. But back to the question Peaches was asking. I think Peaches needs to ask herself, "Does my daughter say,"- "I am a boy yet was born in a girl's body and hate the body I am in EVERY day of my life?" Or is this the case where, "Boys stuff is fun, and I would rather be a boy today." So again, I think the mom would need to decide on what the case is.
