re: re: Treatments for acne?
Jul. 18th, 2008   3:30am
My son had severe acne when he was put on dex, he saw a dermatologist who said that it was steroid induced acne. He took Isotretinoin which cleared it up completely in just over 6 months, his skin is really clear now and has been for over four years. It is important to get good treatment to prevent scarring.  Isotretinoin did make his lips very dry but other than that he didn't have any side effects, it can only be prescribed by a skin specialist.
