My 14 year old son with LOCAH has severe acne. He has had it off and on for several years and we have tried many different treatments. Some of them work for awhile and then seem to stop working. He is taking Letrozole right now so I'm wondering if the increased testosterone is making his acne worse. Does anyone out there have any recommendations for treatments that have worked for them?
We have used ProActiv, AcneFree(which he is using right now) and we've tried antibiotics. The antibiotics might have helped a little but his skin became sensitive to the sun while he was taking them.
