my daughter is going on three and the doctor said she might not be a salt waster.  what i am confused about is three months ago they reduced her florinef to a very little amount but before she had adrenal crisises all the time and i thought salt wasting and adrenal crises were connected.  so what is salt wasting and its side effects if the adrenal crisises is not connected.  and why would they think she was a salt waster because when she was born thats why they said she was a salt waster because she started go through adrenal crisises.  so i was just wondering if someone could explain better and by the way since she has been reduced to such a small amount which the doctor said since she is taking such a low amount she does not need it and my daughter has been so much better i have not had to take her in to see a doctor at all in the last 3 months.  well now that i think about last summer she was not sick either so maybe that has nothing to do with it because my other kids are not in school so there not bringing anything home so the real test is when school starts back.
