That's actually incorrect. Although there should be an equal number of males to females with CAH, before new born screening, a lot of males died (with the salt wasting form). Research has shown there are actually 5 times the number of adult females with CAH than males with the condition. Hopefully in Countries where they have a new born screening programme now, babies with this condition will all be diagnosed and survive!
