I don't think they can do the EKG in the class because the teacher suggested she go for one. She has worn the Holter monitor twice. Anyway, I will call the pediatric dr she has seen in the past and see if he will see her or find out if we need to go to the adult cardiologist. She is currently 19, so most of the pediatric drs will still see her, but we have decided to slowly transition to the adult drs. The only thing is that he does have her records from her previous appts. It is interesting in the past that she has had some episodes of high BP that have gone away. They never knew exactly why they occurred or why they stopped. By the way, she is on 0.1 mg of Florinef and always has been. The dr says her renin level is good.
I don't think any of her other health issues could be related to the heart rhythm. She has had chronic migraines in the past and recently has had a few, but they didn't last long and were not debilitating. She also had a nerve problem called RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) and occasionally has symptoms that it may be starting up again and then with medication it goes away. (She is always at risk of full blown RSD coming back.) Currently she only takes her Cortef, Florinef and Zegerid for acid reflux.
