I've already posted this on the UK board but I wondered if anyone had heard anything about the manufacturer stopping the production of hydrocortisone with brand name Hydrocortone. I recently went to pick up a repeat prescription for my 2 boys and the pharmacy gave me a a different tablet and told me that it was the generic name , unfortunately these tablets are really small and the dosage is 10mg. The boys take 25mg in the morning and up till now we did not have a problem halving the tablets, but we could not do it with the new ones and the pharmacy says they don't come in 5mg and the pharmacy is looking to see what is happening and I just wondered if any one had heard anything.
