It's your opinion that the Canadian Health Care System is better.
I know that Canadians do come to the United States for Heart Surgeries instead of waiting.
I am a cancer survivor besides having in the United States and was helped by tax based assistance when I didn't have insurance for two years and I don't have kids either. I had health insurance from work before the two year lapse job slow down which was picked up by the tax based assistance program and I have had my medical insurance covered since then by my employee now.
There was a lady that was part of my internet support group that was Canadian and was told that she could wait for cancer treatment becuase of her stage but when it was her time for help - the cancer had grown to a terminal stage and she died.
Canada is a great country but no health care system is perfect.
"has never cost me a dime" ? doesn't the cost come out of workers taxes or taxes on products?
