Hi!

Some employers insure employees who work part time (e.g. Starbucks!).  Is work an option for you?

Secondly, I 'heard' that the Dex you take is more harsh then the cortef of prednisone.   Is it?  Just asking.

I am 23 and have SWCAH.  After getting out of school, I had to deal with getting insured.  I learned a few things.

1) Use your parents' insurance for as long as possible.  I went to grad school just to stay on my parents insurance longer.

2) At one point of desperation, I was considering marrying my boyfriend just to be covered under his insurance.  I don't know that this would the most wise decision out there, but I guess... I was at a point of needing insurance SUPER BAD.  I'm not saying do this!

3) You can get insurance through your school if you are a college student.

4) BUT I was saving the most useful and least random stuff for last--- I live in CA too and this is what the state offers in terms of insurance help http://www.insurance.ca.gov/0100-consumers/0020-health-related/

5) I think, and ask Kelly from CARES this, GINA or S-CHIP legislation helps us get insurance?!?!
