I had heard the relationship between Thallassemia and the Mediterannian. I also have Thallassemia trait, as does my brother and mom. I have read that CAH is more popular in people who decend from that region of the world. I was wondering if my assuming the two may be related was all in my head or maybe there was some truth to my hypothesis. Maybe there is, I'll ask my Endo.
