Thanks so much for your reply. Watchful waiting with worrying. Nice alliteration there. He was in a lots of tummy pain last night and cried for quite awhile but never vomited. My teenage nephew said he had it the same pain but no vomiting. My little son actually asked for some what he calls 'regular medicine' his cortef. I gave him a dose immediately as he never asks for it. With no actual vomiting or high fever I'm still unsure of how to respond as to dosing or stress dosing. I tend to err on the side of caution, considering the dangers of not getting a needed stress dose. He doesn't get sick that often.
