I echo what everyone else says, go to your state for assistance or CARES Foundation can direct your steps. You go to your state Health Department in your county. They can direct you to the program that best suits your income level. It is there and it is available. Look on line for discount cards for prescriptions. Although we found one in Ohio, it still stunk. Walmart is getting high ratings from me lately because of their 4 dollar prescriptions. Not sure if Cortef and Florinef would make the 4 dollar price though. But definately go to your county Health Department. They actually came to us after our daughter was born. We have what they call "Healthy Start" and BCMH here in Ohio. My husband lost his job in November and we were scrambling for health care coverage so my condolences are with you. It is insane the cost of medical care. We are now comfortably on BCMH. THANK GOD. So I know there is a program out there. My county health care worker told me each state has a program similar to our BCMH they just call it something different. It takes a while for the paper work and your application to file through so be patient. So we are now waiting on a check for the months Good luck! Let us know how you did.
