re: Growth Hormone and Lupron-Desperate looking forward for information
May. 18th, 2008   1:37pm

Monica-My son also had to take Lupron and Growth Hormone.  He did very well and is now a normal adult height.  He is 14.  He started on the meds at a very early age.  He wound up with the SCFE side effect, but resolved it with surgery and no lasting effects.

If I had it all to do again I DEFINITELY would.  I don't want to be cavilier about surgery and daily needles, but he now looks like every other teen and doesn't have to deal with the daily stresses of being different.

I also have posted a few others messages on my son's experiences, as well as dealing with insurance coverage

Karen
