It was called a stress test. It involved inserting an IV, taking pre-blood work. Administering the medication that puts stress I believe on his adrenal glands. We waited an hour, and then they drew blood again. My insurance didn't pay for it, so it cost almost $700, but I am going to try and dispute it. I am not sure at what age they can do the stress test, but from my understanding its the only definitive test for CAH. If you have any more questions feel free to email me at sgrubbies@sbcglobal.net. I hope your daughter was misdiagnosed so that she won't have to take any more medication. Let me know what happens. :)
