re: re: LOCAH? Bloodwork...

Hi Megan,

Thanks for all of your help!  I went to my endo today (was able to get in early). He's a bit of a Jekyl and Hyde....sometimes helpful, sometimes not.   After having the 17-OHP come back high twice (this time over 3200), he said he thinks I may have CAH.  When I mentioned late onset, he didn't agree w/me and said I probably had this my whole life (not sure I agree with that).

I have a ton of allergies (have went anaphylatic before) and would prefer not to get any testing done that requires injections/medicine.  He wants me to get an MRI with contrast (I guess to rule out tumors) and an ACHT stimulation test.  My questions are: 1) Can I get away without these testing since my 17-ohp was sooo high  2) What happens if one doesn't treat LOCAH?  Is it OK to just let it be?

Thanks Again!
