re: re: re: extra anxiety, and stress for my 16 year old daughter Oct. 10th, 2006 11:23pm
When I finally accepted steroid treatment, my anxiety was greatly reduced. Also, I had a racing heartrate; that has slowed down to a more reasonable level since being on dex.
However, you might also consider having your daughter's thyroid checked - it is not uncommon to also have thyroid issues with CAH and an overactive thyroid can create anxiety and a racing heartrate. I have underactive thyroid, and when they accidentally raised my dose of Synthroid my racing heart came back and I was scared my LOCAH had suddently gotten worse. Doesn't hurt anything to check.
