Anxiety and depression are listed as symptoms of LOCAH. I can understand the anxiety issue with regard to how cortisol is processed and the 'fight or flight' reaction. I have dealt with depression and anxiety (generalised and social) since I was about 13. Learning stress reducing methods, breathing techniques or CBT has been helpful for me - also looking at the stress in my life, and how I can minimise it's effects.
Sorry, I don't know much about the steroid issue in relation to this.
