"Moon face" refers to a rounding of the face that is a side effect of too much steroid. I don't remember anyone here saying that they've had that problem. It would be very unusual for the low doses used for LOCAH. As far as weight gain, that's another story. My daughter hasn't gained any weight, but others have. Not every one chooses to go on steroid treatment; some just treat the symptoms of excess hair, etc. But the steroids should help with other things like fatigue, low blood pressure, etc. You can go off steroid treatment, you just have to wean off very slowly. "Stress dosing" refers only to stress such as surgery, illness with high fever, serious injury, etc., not just exercise. Check out caresfoundation.org. Hope this helps!
