hey my daughter is 14 and she has locah. How much Pred does your daughter take? My daughter takes Cortef right now and honestly I don't see where it is helping much at all, then again she has been taking it for 4 years so I dont't know what she would be like without it. I have locah too but I take Dex. I don't really like it that much and if the dose isn't perfect then you can have lots of side effects. Most adults with locah that take Pred only take about 2mgs, but I don't know about teens.
My daughter still has hair on her upper lip and some acne. She also has hair on her back that she hates.
The dex has helped me but I did have a hard time with the doses for several years. I'm still not totally happy with it's potential to cause weight gain.
