I have read everyone's response to the weight gain question and have a few of my own. I have a 10 year old son with CAH. We have recently moved away from his original endicronolgist and he has experience a tremendous weight gain since we moved. He has all the symptoms of over treatment, round face, purple strecth marks, ect. but his doctor claims he is getting the proper amounts. he is tested every 3 months. he is now starting to experience some of the effects of being over weight, of which being teased about his weight is the least important to us, but very much so for him. he has always been active in sports but cant seem to shed the weight. After reading this website for the first time i have seen some of the symptoms that he has and hope to find some answers here.
If any one is able to help with some of these issues, maybe point me in the right direction for some answers. thank you all for any help you may have.
