8 yr. old daughter w/ locah and anxiety-help! Oct. 17th, 2004 8:56am
my 8 yr. old daughter has been being treated for locah and precious puberty since she was 5 yrs. old. She takes pediapred, 1 ml daily, and monthly lupron depot shots. I have expressed my concern to her ped. endocronologist about her anxiety, mood swings, fears, and he referred us to a phychologist. Up until now, I have been glad extra meds have not been prescribed for this, but now I'm having second thoughts. Is this a common problem with locah patients, and is there anyone out there that can relate?
