re: i hate life
Oct. 16th, 2003   10:25pm

Hey, don't sweat the small things in life. Your CAH is just a part of you, it in no way defines who you really are. Taking you meds is very important as you know, but they are just a routine you must fit into your day like brushing you teeth or taking your shower. Your doctors visits should be a time to question your doctor about your CAH. If you don't feel comfortable talking to your parents then ask if they can leave the room while you ask your doctor the questions you have.  I do not have CAH personally, but I have a daughter who does. I am only 21. Although, I don't have CAH I can kinda relate to you. I used to hate everything about myself. I am overweight, I have facial hair, and I even have one breast that is quite larger than the other. There are things that all people don't like about themselves.  If CAH is yours you can find ways to work around it. I kept a journal of all my personal feelings. That was my way of venting. Remember that we are all here to help you if you have any questions. And again, CAH does NOT define who you are. You heart and soul are more defining than anything else. Keep your head up, life is a gift no matter how God givs it to you. Your life with CAH will only make you stronger.

don’t worry
