I am the mother of a 16 yo SWCAH.  She has had the same surgical procedures as you girls.  She has been very open about all these issues w/me.  I have encouraged and stood by her as SHE told the surgeon who did her sugery that she was not happy with the 1st outcome and the second.  He explained to her about the internal issues, the placement of her vaginal opening and the vaginal canal.  Too close here, you would risk bowel problems for life--too close here urinary problems the rest of your life--she has come to terms with this.  When she was 1 yo she had a clitoroplasty, they saved some skin from her labial fold, by folding it together (?) for when she had her vaginoplasty when she was 11.  So she does look fairly normal--My question to you girls--I have allowed my daughter to laser her bottom (peri-area) to remove the hair, it caused her great discomfort, she was always scratching, it was very coarse.  Is/was this typical during your teen years, when levels were not consistant?

I also would like to comment: if you girls did have your own "page", us parents would not know what to expect, or how to approach our children--I commend you girls for your frankness!!  Thank you!

Marie
