Susan is correct - talking about something can set you free!! I have also found that information can set you free and age can set you free -a few years down the road I can almost assure you, you will not feel the same as you do now.

Well done for sharing what you have with us - that's a really hard part.

One thing I wondered though is about your sister. Do you mean she does doesn't  know about CAH at all or did you mean she has no knowledge of your genital surgery etc?

It's important that she knows that CAH is in the family. I'm sure you are aware that it is possible your sister may carry one of the CAH mutations that you carry and therefore the risk for her is that one of her children may have CAH if she partners with another carrier (although the chances are small)?
