re: re: re: re: Abstract: Sexual orientation in women with classical or non-classical CAH

While I recognize having children with CAH is very difficult, I whole heartedly believe our children are born who they are - gay, straight, bisexual - and I personally have not encountered any physicians who attempt to "sway" my child or me into thinking my daughter is a lesbian - only the facts of the physiological make-up of our children and their brain chemistry related to this condition.  I personally could care less whether my daughter is a lesbian or not - my main and only concern is that she remains healthy, and grows up to enter into a relationship that is healthy, happy, and nurturing.  I do believe children with CAH, particularly females, probably do have a stronger likelihood of being gay or bi-sexual due to the nature of this condition and the excessive male hormones they are born with.

While it's difficult for some to accept, don't our children at the very least deserve parents to be open, nurturing, and accepting no matter what the outcome of this very confusing and complicated disorder?
