I hate to say it but you are abosolutley right. People who think guys don't care about appearence are in a dream world. Its plays a huge part in starting a relationship. When your appearence in a private area looks different a guy is gonna notice. Its embarressing enough to undress in front of anyone when u look normal. It is far worse when you look obviously different than every other woman in that area. If people can't understand that then there is something wrong with them. I feel the same way u do about getting close to a guy. Ive never had boyfriend, kissed a guy or even been on date & i'm 22. I just don't see my self ever having sex with anyone & having to explain why I look this way. Ive never even told my best female friends about my condition, I could never tell a guy. Having to expain to a guy that your genitalia was messed up when you were born will defniatley feak a guy out no matter how much he loves you.
