"a parent" from the last post said exactly what I was thinking. It does make sense that androgens in utero would help to shape the brain as well as the physical appearance of CAH females. Part of fully accepting our children is simply being aware of all of the information out there.

I don't believe my daughter is going to be a lesbian just because of CAH. That wasn't what the study was concluding either. Is there a higher probability than the "average" female? I think it makes sense. These studies are not going to be harmful to our children. The way we react to them might be. There is no love like unconditional love.

Megan made a brilliant statement. CAH did not begin with our daughers. How lucky for us that we can learn from others to help our children. Have an open mind.

God bless,

Katrina
