Excessive androgens wouldn't make a male w/ CAH gay.

This is a Study about females exposed to excessive androgens because of CAH. Studies by different researchers do come to the conclusion that lesbianism is higher in the CAH female  population and also bi- sexuality. I'm not bi-sexaul or a lesbian and don't relate to females but I've taken scientific studies that showed that I was smack in the middle on gender. I think it was the bem study? Megan do you know of studies like this?

This was a study by for one an Endo that has made the study if CAH her life.

Excessive androgens in utero via CAH are studied and of interest of those researchers. Susan Baker for one.

No intersex doesn't define all with CAH but researchers do use the word as a medical definition for some cases higher on the prader scale - In my day it was pseudo-hermaprodite. The word intersex has been used to where the word has become murky and those that matter not me have moved to using Disorders of Sexual Differentation as this word seems to please all types of groups. Heck CAH was once call adrenal genital syndrome and still is sometimes. .

Thank you Megan for the topical jornals articles and scientific studies even if they are beyond the scope of understanding for me and others at times.

I took scientific measure for my social work degree and it was a great learning experience.  It is always interesting to see the same applied to CAH.

I do toss around if having are own page or board would help us more to deal with living with CAH.

thanK you for posting LLL as I can realte to everything that you wrote.

aimee
