Why do people always assume things and think they know what us mothers feel? I would have no problem if my daughter was to tell me that she is gay, so please do not judge me.
WHAT I do feel strongly about, is how people blame being GAY on having CAH. RUBBISH -

ARE you saying all people with CAH are GAY because if you read the posts, that is the message people will get.
What is all this about the GAY gene?
WHAT is sad, are those who cannot are told their girls will be GAY because they have CAH, which is rubbish! How many studies have been done GAY people, does CAH feature in everyone of them? Some woman who do not have CAH also appear masculine, hairy, I know a lady who has such dark long hairs on her arms, she shaves them because she feels they make her look like a man - now if she had CAH would you say, ooh - no you are masculine and you must be GAY?
There are so many girls who love to play with boys toys and even work in what used to be termed a man's job - does that make them GAY - NO just as CAH doesn't make you GAY.
There is nothing wrong with being GAY but to come and state all this about girls being GAY, is not fair, CAH IS NOT AN INTERSEX CONDITION AND IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE GAY!
I am sure the bible does not approve of gays, and if we go one step further, look at AIDS but of course this is what some people do think, I am NOT one of those people. I actually find people who are gay, extremely nice and know many, I treat them no different from anyone else, because what they choose to do with their lives is their business. MY point is that NOT all girls with CAH are GAY and it is wrong to say that taking DEX could prevent this. Be sad for all the parents that are upset because they are being led to believe there is a very good chance their daughter will be gay because she has CAH - and if that was true, then you could term the whole of CAH as intersex. I have never heard of one GAY man with CAH.
