I think it sad that some mothers would even get freaked out at the thought of their child being gay (for whatever reason). Those are the very parents of the children that grow up living someone else's life, for fear that their parents would find out who they really are.
Would I ever break down and admit to anyone that I am attracted to the same sex? No! My mother has made it very clear that homosexuality is not acceptable. I couldn't handle that kind of damnation from my own parent or anyone for that matter. Ever.
