Hmmm....this is an interesting thread. As a child growing up I tended to have an interest in both genders....then once I got on meds that changed for me (much less testosterone) I have never wanted to play with dolls, cook, sew, etc.  I am in to hiking, camping, caving, biking, and "guy type stuff"   I like changing my own oil - hauling in my own christmas tree - cutting off the trunk myself with a saw... etc. I remember my mom wishing I had more girl friends when I was growing up- all my friends were guys. My brother and I got along REALLY well - he's 16 months younger and we played together all the time.

I also had a daycare when my daughter was very small. I had a boy named Addison that I got at 10 months. I had him until he was about 3 years old. I thought from the beginning that he was going to be gay. He was interested in playing fairy princess - was not into knobs and gadgets like my other daycare boys... and just was very feminine. The funny thing is that about a month ago my daughter (they are both 21 now) found his profile on myspace. Addison IS gay. That was really interesting. That goes to show that gender identity starts at a VERY young age!
