She's nervous because her daughter is about to undertake surgery....I guess if you have never had children, you wouldn't know (or even BEGIN to understand) the worry/anguish that parenst feel on behalf of their children. Don't turn this into anything other than SUPPORT for a fellow human being who is obviously in a worried state about her child.
