Dear Lisa,

You mentioned that your daughter was a prader five like me and that you had the vaginoplasty part done and i'm not sure if surgery was also done for any internal infections or anything. From the magazine article you felt that the surgery you had was the best compromise and that was great and i read the other person in the article had more surgery for his child and that was great. Whatever choice for whatever family unit that has a child with CAH. If we can really all look at each other then a united front for CAH which benefits CAH and the medical advancement of Yes CAH yes the selfish brat I am. It goes back to our house and many different rooms in the same house.

Age five was great for my family structure. I do wonder if i had a child born like me what would  I do? and for me between age 5 and 8 would be it BUT someone else with CAH might consider before age three and tell the kid latter if at all Kidding . In fact I do know someone with CAH that I'm pretty sure would do that based on her feelings about CAH that are really different than mine. But I do know others with CAH that no way in H### would their child w/ CAH ever have surgery except yes for internal infection and that goes for all of us would agree to the surgery but nothing would be cut off, reduced or and I hate this word reconstructed and this is based on her family structure and experiences.

If we all link together then we all move forward to decide whatterms work for us and what terms don't and asking from smart people that would really benefit us.
