That was me and my daughter on the pbs show I have blonde hair and my daughter was a baby in the picher, But I was very upset on how the show was veiwed. Thats what I get for trusting someone elses jugment. Well thank you everyone for writing back, I know some people don't agree with me but I do believe in what I am doing, I also believe in people with cah who were hurt by doctors in more then one way. I also feel the word intersex hurts. No I do not have cah, but my daughter does and when I first found out about cah I got right on the computer and read cah stories, I was not happy to hear how many people were hurt. I don't want that to ever happen again. If I have to live the rest of my life to try to stop this that what I will do, not only for my daughter but for everyone with cah. I don't think someone wiith cah should ever feel differnt. To be afraid that someone might find out that they have ambigous genitalia. What will they say, How hurtful will there words be. I think people are mean and we need to be just as mean and stand up for what we beleive in. cah woman are strong wonderful woman and they can do anything anyother woman can do. Without feeling assamed, There is nothing for them to be assamed of. Remember this is coming from some without cah. I also think that the quick answer for most is sugery, Why should we change the way god made . We change for what others may think, well my daughter has had NO SUGERY. She should be proud of who she is not the way others perceive her.WE NEED TO MAKE ALL THIS STOP, Not that I think sugery is a bad thing but I do think that my daughter will not change other people won't think she ( NORMAL) what the hell is normal anyway, I'm not very normal and I don't have cah
