I'm 20 and had surgery when I 9, had my first sexual relationship at 14 and have never really been that concious of down there until I hit 15/16. It suddenly hit me what I had and what that meant. But I agree with lauraly that anyone considering for their child to have surgery at a younger ie before puberty should go for it. For had it not been for me having surgery at 9 then i don't know what would have happened to me physcologically - as it is I was pretty messed up with other happensings in my life, as well as the cah hitting home.
