Just because you are embarrassed by the what you were born doesn't mean others won't like how they were/are. I went to preschool w/ my out of the ordinary what the heck is genitals and I was a really good finger painter. The young baby sitter wasn't shocked by me and years later still liked me. She mentioned that she was actually afraid of our big house. I think my parents did the best they could and waited until age five and I'll tell you that I would of be better adjusted if the surgery was held off longer and I had been in on the decision because all the surgery ever did was make me feel how I was really born was worthless. My parents were ok w/ waiting and the psych dept at The U of Mich wrote in the medical records that I could of waited a couple of years but the medical doctors rode them and said it was for my own good. I try to live under God and I tried to forgive Dr. Coran but it's hards because what was done to me is medical assault and it's allowed. Three surgeons with scalpels against a defenseless five year old that wasn't in need of medical help yet. Now if I had been asked or hell even told about it then I would have different feelings and not felt violated. Someone's genital area is private and when it is surgically altered it becomes something they made and own because you had no say in the matter. They slice you up and then are silent about it all the while bringing residents in to view you, pull apart what they did and put their fingers in you and then all smiling and patting themselves on the back for what they did. Am I messed up? heck yes.
Scared of sex? oh hell no because once you've had from age five on strange men and women poking around in your private area from age five on You become desensitized to anything having to do with sex.
