Thank you SO much for your response to this issue!!! We are parents of a precious 20 month old with swcah.We have never diagnosed her with anything more than a adrenal disorder.... You took the words out of our mouths exactly by your response....our daughter is a gift from God, that we appreciate everyday!! She was sent to us like this for a reason. It is aggervating and extremely hurtful to say the very least to hear some comments "people" have to say about these precious children!! They are no diffrent than you or i, except their body is not producing exactly everything it should. And in the public eye that gives them the right to "label& bad mouth " our children, what gives them the right! It's not the childrens fault they were born this way, and us as parents had no control over this condition whatsoever, believe me, if i did i would of. Maybe i'm the only one how feel's this way, but if i can protect my child from embarassment or hurt i will! I can only hope and pray that the"public", will think twice before looking at these kids, putting their hands in front of their mouths, and whispering into somebody elses ears as they walk by, think about how your making them feel as your doing this.
