What gets me is write like you are informing when you really don't know. The condition of CAH doesn't have to be severe to produce ambiguous genitals. The external ambiguous genitals aren't a condition but rather external characteristics of what may happen because of the excessive androgens out of the adrenal gland. My condition of CAH baseline from birth was actually not that severe as to lack the ability to thrive like some of the stories that I've read.
It was thought to be a partial block until the cortisone med took over and then it became a cortisone dependent issue. In another era, that picture of that guy could of been me although I'm much cuter. About that picture, I wonder if he was told that it would be kept only for medical purposes. This person knows that he has CAH and can you imagine how he would feel seeing his picture like that after coming here looking for support or wanting to offer support? I can but no you can't and get a delight out of looking at pictures of me and people like me. Creepy to be someone's hobby and no offense meant because unlike the parents that lamb blasted you in the other post...well wait...to me you come of as an arrogant jerk and it was good that you verified that your co-workers and wife take issue also but I still do wish you well in your endevors. I'm going to go play with the goats now because that's the level that I am to you. So how did those pictures of me make you feel? someone like you is my worst nightmare.
