Sue, thanks for your response.

What you say was helpful and makes sense. I just hope that the right level and type of medication can be found for my daughter, who does see an Endocronologist quite regularly. She has now begun taking Prednisolone but has for a week been experiencing a lot of other effects such as poor temperature control, inability to sleep, upset tummy, nausea and headache. I wonder if it is possible to get withdrawal symptoms from taking Dexamethasone for 5 or 6 years or whether these are now the side-effects of Prednisolone. We are hoping to get advice from the consultant but this may take some time. It is a difficult situation.
